Padi Thurai is a film produced by Arya under the banner The Show People. New face Abhishek is doing the lead role.
Ilayaraja is composing the music. Bala’s assistant Duresh Kannan is directing this film. Novelists Naanjil Nadan, S Ramakrishnan and Jayamohan are penning the lyrics. Anaya who had acted in Nadodigal was signed to pair with Abhishek.
A few days back Anaya did not turn up for the shooting at Tirunelveli. Because of this she was dropped and new face Santhani was signed.
